Improvisation 1, 2021

The first time I met Maggie Muth, she said “Take two pieces of fabric that you think don’t go together and sew them together. Then cut that piece in half, turn one half around, and sew them together again.”

That’s how I learned to improvise, and that was the beginning of this quilt.

Made from a raincoat, two tablecloths, and a trip to the salvage store.
